Spiderlite TD Series
Spiderlite TD6 & Featured Kits
Popular on the sets of major television shows, films, and amongst professional photographers, Westcott’s Spiderlite TD has become the first choice for powerful, daylight or tungsten lighting. Named a 2012 Hot One by Professional Photographer magazine, the newest Spiderlite TD6 steadily produces 1200 watts of illumination. With sockets placed evenly across the compact light head, Spiderlites emit light evenly for maximized output.
The Spiderlite Series was designed with the ability to take both fluorescent and tungsten-halogen bulbs. Photographers can choose instantly between using warm or cool light temperatures without needing to exchange light heads. Regardless of the bulbs in use, the Spiderlite TD’s output can be adjusted with separate controls located on the rear of the light head. Each switch controls the level of brightness while maintaining color temperature. The light head is constructed with reflective metal, optimizing output and durability.
Each Spiderlite head features built-in rod receptacles, allowing for softbox modification and mounting without the need of additional mounting brackets or adapter rings. This light head is also able to rotate 180-degrees. A protruding handle located on the rear of the Spiderlite allows photographers to quickly place their modifiers in both horizontal and vertical positions with ease. Additionally, the Spiderlite head features an affixed tilter bracket for even more precise placement.
The Spiderlite is available in the TD6 and TD3 versions. Each version the Spiderlite is available on its own or in a large variety of kits and bundles. Featuring Westcott softboxes, stripbanks, umbrellas, and stands, there is a Spiderlite kit that fits every photography need. Including bundles for portraiture, hair lights, complete studios, and backlights, choose your favorite Spiderlite modifier and save.
