The Westcott Original

Since 1899, Westcott has been an industry-leading innovator of umbrellas. The inventor of the fiberglass umbrella frame, Westcott has continuously strived to develop the best umbrellas on the market. From improved framework to superior fabrics, Westcott's professional collapsible, parabolic, and standard umbrellas prove to be the essential modifier for all photographers.

Durable Structure

All of the current Westcott Pro Umbrellas feature a lightweight fiberglass frame. These frames are strong, resisting breaks while also providing flexibility. On many styles, this strength is backed by a solid steel umbrella shaft, providing a solid center for worry-free mounting. This steel shaft is measured at 7mm, the most common umbrella mounting size for stands and brackets.

Premium Fabrics

From satin diffusers to highly-reflective surfaces, all Westcott Umbrellas are designed with high-quality fabrics. Soft and metallic silver umbrellas are laminated for protection. Optical diffusion umbrellas are built with white satin. Westcott places a high importance on quality materials, ensuring that the best fabrics are used for reflecting, softening, and diffusing light sources. All versions are available in a variety of sizes and bundles, each featuring the same emphasis on precision craftsmanship.

Compact Options

Collapsing down to 14.5", Westcott Pro Collapsible Umbrellas create large light sources while still allowing for efficient storage and travel. These innovative modifiers can slip directly into a gear bag and are protected with an included nylon case.
