Introducing the Westcott L120-B Newborn Continuous Lighting Kit, an all-in-one LED lighting solution designed to give newborn photographers soft, flattering, consistent light throughout every portrait session. If you're looking for the best LED light for newborn photography, this complete kit provides professional-quality lighting with continuous lighting that's always available.

Designed specifically with newborn photographers in mind, this kit includes one Westcott L120-B 120W Bi-Color COB LED Light, a 7' umbrella with white interior, an umbrella diffusion front, and an 8' heavy-duty air-cushioned light stand. Together, these components create a complete newborn photography lighting setup that makes it easy to produce soft, beautiful light while maintaining precise control over your exposure, color, and shadows.

At the heart of the kit is the compact and portable L120-B COB LED light. Its 120W bi-color LED output delivers up to 23,900 lux at 1 meter with the included 45° Ultra Reflector, providing plenty of power for newborn portraits and other studio photography. Wired AC power makes it easy to use in the studio, while optional 14.4/14.8V D-Tap battery compatibility (sold separately) provides additional flexibility for photographers working on location. A carry case is included for convenient transportation.

The L120-B delivers exceptional light quality with an adjustable color temperature from 2700K to 6500K and fully dimmable output from 1-100%. With up to 98 CRI, 99 TLCI, and 92 SSI, the L120-B produces highly accurate color with minimal need for post-production correction. This makes it an excellent choice for newborn photography, where natural-looking skin tones and consistent color are essential.

The included 7' umbrella with white interior creates broad, soft, diffused light that is ideal for newborn portraits. Add the included diffusion front for even greater control and a softer quality of light. The large light source helps create gentle illumination and flattering shadows, making this setup an excellent choice for newborns, babies, maternity portraits, families, and other portrait sessions.

The L120-B is also designed for quiet operation, with a low-decibel internal fan and a Silent Fan Mode at 30% intensity for noise-sensitive environments. Its flicker-free output up to 4,000 FPS makes it suitable for both photography and video. Nine built-in special effects, including lightning, TV screen flicker, fire, and paparazzi flashes—provide additional creative options beyond traditional portrait lighting.

A durable metal housing and removable metal tilter bracket with a 5/8" (16mm) receiver provide reliable support and precise positioning. The bracket tilts and rotates 360° for flexible light placement, while intuitive control dials and an LCD display make adjusting the light quick and easy.

For photographers searching for the best LED light for newborn photography, the L120-B combines powerful output, exceptional color accuracy, adjustable color temperature, quiet operation, and the simplicity of continuous lighting in one portable system. With the included 7' umbrella, diffusion front, and heavy-duty 8' light stand, the Westcott L120-B Newborn Continuous Lighting Kit gives newborn photographers everything they need to create beautiful, consistent portraits from the very first shot.
