Developed by photography educator Erin Manning, this single-light kit is a must-have for any budding photographer or home studio. Featuring the Strobelite Plus, an octabox, and a reflector, this kit is a fantastic way to learn the art of flash photography.

The Strobelite’s powerful output can be adjusted from one-quarter to full power and everything inbetween. These adjustments are automatic, thanks to an auto-dump feature on our Plus version, which immediately reflects any output change. Modeling lamp previews are also automatically adjusted when power output has been increased or decreased, giving an accurate foresight into the intensity of the strobe.
Recycle times can greatly affect the images you capture. When strobe recycle times are lengthy, great shots are often missed. That is why the Strobelite Plus was designed with fast recycle times, regardless of the power output. With recycling times between 1 seconds at low power and 2.5 seconds at full power, you’ll capture all of the action in your shoot without concern. The Strobelite Plus is also designed with an optical infrared cell that communicates with all other flashes in use, allowing for exact triggering and evenly illuminated photographs.
Constructed with an attached tilter bracket, this strobe unit can be quickly mounted and angled on virtually any light stands. This heavy-duty bracket also supports the weight of even the largest softboxes and modifiers, eliminating stress placed on the light head. Other items in the box include a 15 foot removable power cord, sync cord, reflector, protective cap, flash tube, and modeling lamp.
The included 32” modifier directs and controls light output. This octabox is constructed with a reflective silver interior, durable heat-resistant rods, and a 1-stop diffusion cloth. It mounts quickly into the speedring.
“The Strobelite Plus has been a mainstay in almost all my imagery. Whether shooting a magazine cover requiring higher wattage or adding just a kiss of light on a child's portrait, I can always count on the reliability and consistent color I get from from my Strobelite Plus Kit.”

“I work these strobes so hard. These puppies are durable and accurate. They have taken a beating with my constant travel schedule and they are still working like champs, years after I got them.”

“This setup is perfect for the shooter just getting started and would be an ideal lighting kit for wedding and on-location family portraiture. It allowed me to shoot several hundred photographs with no misfires and no problems.”

“As a working pro, the most important qualities I look for in any equipment choice is predictability and dependability. I need to be able to trust the gear I make my living with. It must work every time and return consistent results. This is why I depend on Westcott gear. The Westcott Strobelite monolight is rock solid. It is lightweight, dependable, and consistent. The color temperature remains the same across the power settings and the output is always reliable. I can relax and concentrate on getting the shot rather than constantly worrying about the results from my lighting system.”
