Promotional Gift Card Terms & Conditions

1. Overview
This Promotional Gift Card Offer ("Offer") is provided by F. J. Westcott ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") to eligible customers who complete the survey as described herein. This offer is a promotional award and is governed by these Terms & Conditions.
This promotion is not a lottery, sweepstakes, or contest. All survey respondents who meet the eligibility criteria will receive a promotional gift card. Participation does not require any purchase.
2. Eligibility
You are eligible to receive a promotional gift card if you:
- Complete the entire survey in full
- Have not previously received a promotional gift card under this same campaign
- Are at least 18 years of age (or legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Are not an employee, contractor, or immediate family member of Westcott or its parent company
One gift card per customer, per campaign. Duplicate submissions will be identified and only the first valid submission will be honored. We reserve the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that do not meet these criteria.
3. Promotional Gift Card Details
Amount
The dollar amount of your promotional gift card is determined by your customer segment and will be specified at the time of issuance:
Validity Period
All promotional gift cards expire on August 15, 2026. The expiration date will be clearly displayed when the code is issued. After the expiration date, the code cannot be redeemed and has no value.
No Fees
This is a promotional gift card issued at no cost to you. There are:
- No activation fees
- No service fees
- No inactivity fees
- No reloading charges
4. How to Redeem Your Promotional Gift Card

- Browse and add items to your shopping cart
- Proceed to checkout
- Look for the "Discount Code" or "Gift Card" field
- Enter your promotional gift card code
- Your credit will be applied to your order
- Complete your purchase
5. Code of Use & Restrictions
Your promotional gift card code:
- Is one-time use only – Once the credit is applied to a purchase, the code cannot be reused
- Cannot be reloaded – The code does not have a reloadable balance; once the credit is exhausted, the code has no further value
- Is non-refundable – If you use only part of the credit, you do not receive cash back for the unused amount

Has no cash value – You cannot exchange the code for cash or merchandise credit elsewhere
You may not: - Attempt to resell, transfer, or trade your promotional gift card code
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or manipulate the code
- Combine codes within a single transaction (unless expressly permitted)
- Use the code fraudulently or in violation of these terms
6. Promotional Gift Card Balance & Partial Redemption
If your promotional gift card has a balance of $25.00 and you make a purchase of $18.00:
Your credit applied: $18.00
Remaining balance: $7.00
You may use the remaining $7.00 balance toward future purchases before the expiration date.
After expiration, any remaining balance is forfeited with no refund or credit issued.
7. Disqualification & Forfeiture
We reserve the right to disqualify you from this offer and forfeit the promotional gift card code if:
- Your submission is determined to be fraudulent or obtained through misrepresentation
- You attempt to claim multiple codes through duplicate submissions, fake identities, or other deceptive means
- You use the code in violation of these terms or our store's general terms of service
- You engage in high-frequency or suspicious redemption patterns
- You use a temporary, disposable, or fraudulent email address for registration
- Your submission contains abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language
- You attempt to manipulate or circumvent the survey process
- Your account is flagged for fraudulent activity across our platform

Disqualified codes will be invalidated immediately and cannot be redeemed.
8. Fraud Detection & Verification
To protect the integrity of this offer:
- We may verify your survey responses and contact information
- We may track submission patterns to detect fraud, duplicate accounts, and abuse

- We reserve the right to forfeit any codes obtained through fraudulent means
9. Modification & Cancellation
We reserve the right to:

- Terminate the offer if we determine it is being abused or exploited

10. Limitation of Liability
F. J. Westcott and Shopify Inc. (the payment processor) are not liable for:
- Technical failures that prevent code redemption
- Lost, stolen, or compromised codes
- Codes that expire before use
- Incorrect customer information provided during survey submission
- Delivery failures of survey completion notifications
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
11. Data Privacy & Survey Information
Your personal information may be used to:
- Verify your eligibility
- Create and deliver your promotional gift card code
- Send transactional emails (code delivery, expiration reminders)
- Comply with legal requirements
Survey responses are collected for:

12. Taxes & Compliance
The value of your promotional gift card is considered a non-monetary award or loyalty incentive. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be responsible for reporting the value of this award for tax purposes. Consult a tax professional if you have questions about your tax obligations.
We will not issue a 1099 form or tax documentation for promotional gift cards.
13. Redemption Issues
If you cannot redeem your code:
- Verify the code was entered correctly (check for typos)
- Confirm the code has not expired
- Ensure your order is eligible (some restrictions may apply)

14. No Warranty
The promotional gift card is provided "as-is" without any warranty or guarantee beyond what is expressly stated in these terms.
We do not warrant that:
- The code will be delivered without errors
- The redemption process will be error-free
- All merchandise will remain in stock for the duration of the validity period
15. General Provisions
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ohio/United States, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with F. J. Westcott's General Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement regarding this promotional offer.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
