Nikon Ambassador Jerry Ghionis is widely regarded as one of the top wedding photographers in the world. Based in both Melbourne and Beverly Hills, Jerry has developed a successful career based around his unique ability to capture the magic of individuals. His creative vision led him to design both the Ice Light and the Omega Reflector, two completely unique and game-changing lighting tools for photographers.

The Ice Light 2's high-end internal ballast ensures a flicker-free output and stable light consistency.
Unlike traditional LED panels, the Ice Light has a built-in diffuser that is custom-designed to protect the LEDs and create a 73-degree beam angle. This casts a wide spread of incredibly soft light over a large area.
Ice Light 2 is multi-voltage from 100 to 240-volts, allowing for worldwide use. It’s also is CE certified for safety for use internationally, giving you the ability to travel abroad without worry.
I thought I'd try the Ice Light 2 as it's reduced price seemed to hit a sweet spot for me. I also have been looking for a good, dimmable, self-contained light source that I could use as a key, eye-light or accent light and it's been very useful and a lot of fun to play with. It's charge lasts a good few hours of use, it's nice and bright with good colour, and most of all it's so self-contained with no batteries hanging off or cables at all, so terrific for hiding in the back of set behind a chair or under a bed to throw a small fill area into a shadowy set. I should have bought two.
My wife and I own both the Ice Light I and Ice Light 2 and we have just been thrilled with the quality of the light both Ice Lights put out. The Ice light 2 is definitely brighter and worth the investment. There is also something to be said regarding the "WOW" factor when you use the Ice Light. It says to all our clients that we are professionals and that we will invest in the absolute best to capture great photographs. Another added bonus is Jerry is happy to sign them if you train with him or meet him at any of the photographer shows.
