Designed by Joel Grimes
Commercial photographer Joel Grimes has nearly thirty years of experience in the field. Throughout his successful career, Joel's assignments have taken him to every state across the USA and to over fifty countries around the globe. Aside from his commercial work, Joel views himself as an ambassador for the photographic creative process, teaching hands-on workshops around the world as a Canon Explorer of Light. His book Navajo, Portrait of a Nation received a number of photographic and design awards and resulted in an 18-month solo exhibit at the Smithsonian American History museum.
Premium Fabrics
Our diffusion panels are constructed with an all-natural, unbleached nylon fabric. Unlike processed diffusion fabrics, these diffusers will soften your light source without altering its color temperature. The Beauty Dish's white interior is reflective and softening, perfect for creating neutral highlights in beauty and fashion portraits.
Pair with Egg Crate Grid
This 40-degree grid available for the Rapid Box Beauty Dish instantly attaches with ultra-durable hook-and-loop tape. The Rapid Box Beauty Dish is designed with a recessed edge, giving you the ability to use your diffusion panel and 40-degree grid simultaneously.
Built to Last
The Beauty Dish Switch is engineered for durability and years of use in the field. This modifier is constructed with ultra-durable components including an all-metal locking collar and 16 all-metal ribs. The included flat metal deflector plate minimizes hot spots and creates stunning and dramatic beauty light output.
Rear-Mounted Lights
We purposely designed the Switch series with an external mount. By keeping your speedlight or strobe outside of the softbox, you can quickly access controls and utilize the line-of-sight (or optical wireless) functionality. Of course, radio triggers can be used as well.
