The essential modifier for commercial, fashion, and portrait photographers. The Zeppelin Deep Parabolic softbox features a deep parabolic construction for stunning, wraparound light.
The Zeppelin Deep Parabolic line features 35", 47", and a 59" softbox options.
Each Zeppelin is equipped with high-quality construction and needlework, 16 heavy-duty heat-resistant rods, a 1-stop inner diffusion panel with a 2-stop center deflector dot, a 1-stop outer diffusion panel, and a zippered entry point.
Each Zeppelin softbox comes standard with both an inner and an outer diffusion panel. Both the 1-stop outer diffusion panel and the 1-stop inner diffusion panel can be used by themselves or in tandem. The outer panel is constructed with velcro around the edges for quick attachment. The inner diffusion panel utilizes elastic snaps, ensuring secure placement within the Zeppelin.
The standard rear mount is optimized with the available Zeppelin Speedring and Bracket. This mounting solution projects your light directly toward the front of the softbox, creating an impressive light output with beautiful circular catchlights. The inner diffusion panel eliminates any potential hotspots.
By utilizing the optional Zeppelin Deflector Plate, photographers can place their light source on a second stand inside the Zeppelin via the zippered entry point. This mounting method projects your light toward the rear of the softbox, where it is reflected and then projected toward your subject. This mounting solution creates an specular, evenly diffused output.
The optional Zeppelin Mounting Arm can be mounted through the removable back panel and paired with the optional Zeppelin Deflector Plate. This superior mounting method allows for focusable and centered light placement, giving you the ability to create a variety of light output styles.
Each Zeppelin softbox includes a durable carry case equipped with a handle strap.
“The Zeppelin gives me incredible control of the pattern of light it projects. I can use this modifier for an unlimited number of subjects from fashion to traditional portraiture.”

“I love the light that the large Zeppelin produces! It makes the light on my images look like it was painted on.”
Zach Gray, Top Pro Elite Photographer
“These Zeppelin softboxes are sure to be a hit! They are well constructed and the light is gorgeous. Having the mount bear all the weight of the Zeppelin AND the strobe makes me feel a lot better about using it as I know there will be no additional stress on my strobes themselves. This will undoubtedly be my new go-to softbox for the majority of my studio work.”
Terry White, Top Pro Elite Photographer
“The Zeppelin creates some of the most beautiful light I've seen. I also love the fact that you can really focus the light and minimize spill, which makes it perfect for controlling the light and creating lots of drama.”
Matt Hernandez, Top Pro Photographer
“Westcott’s Zeppelin parabolics are some of the most affordable paras on the market and are ideal for creating the kind of wrap-around illumination required for studio portrait and fashion photography.”
Theano Nikitas, Photo District News
“I have to say I am impressed with the quality of the light and the ability to focus the light using just the interior baffle installed. You can configure the Westcott Zeppelin 3 different ways which make it a pretty versatile light modifier.”
Craig Beckta, Top Pro Photographer
“The uniquely deep parabolic shape generates stunning even, wrap-around light output. This is what will make these new modifiers so attractive to the portrait, fashion, and commercial photographer crowds.”
Anthony Thurston, SLR Lounge
“The mounting of the speed ring is really quite clever. Because the speed ring is mounted to a metal bracket none of the weight of the Zeppelin is carried on the strobe’s mounting points, which is a real plus for a modifier of this size.”

“The Westcott Zeppelin would have to be one of the more exciting modifiers that I’ve come across this year. ”

“I remove the front diffusion material to create a light source that is both soft and compellingly crisp. The quality of Westcott's softboxes is absolutely wonderful!”
Steve Hansen, Top Pro Photographer
“Westcott softboxes are built to take it. A great deal of my shooting is done on location. This means setup, breakdown and storage time and time again. My work level can wear out cheaply made gear in a hurry. Westcott softboxes hold up to the rigors and demands of corporate shooting. I trust Westcott to protect my reputation as a reliable shooter. ”

“The tremendous difference I see when using Westcott's soft boxes and modifiers is the quality of light. Absolutely beautiful color balancing, and diffusion. With a construction that is durable and dependable in the studio, or at all types of tricky locations, Westcott is the clear professional choice.”
